I was thrilled to receive DeeDee's pincushion top the other day. Her preference for design was something with a Victorian era flavour so I searched for something suitable and came up with a lady's boot design. I still haven't settled on the colours but I like the idea of some claret and white on her pink fabrics. I will have to look up the best colours to go with pink. Maybe some tiny lacy bits on the front and some little black beads for buttons down the side. The design is still developing but I hope to start on the cutting out at least today.
